Educare Publications is seeking a passionate, enthusiastic, and creative graphic designer who has proven skills and experience working in graphic design. Duties include brainstorming initial design concepts, creating custom book cover designs, T-shirt designs, and other marketing materials for print and digital platforms. Job Description
Create and design various materials for print and digital collateral
Ensure projects are completed with high quality and on schedule
Prioritize and manage multiple projects within design specifications
Perform retouching and manipulation of images as requested by the client
Work with a wide range of media and use graphic design software
Format book cover to fit the client’s book size
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Customer service experience
Dependable transportation
Experience working within an education setting
Evidence of strong communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Major or significant coursework in Art, Graphic Design, or related disciplines is highly preferred
1+ years of experience in the field of graphic design
Mastery of graphic design software
Solid knowledge of design and visual principles
Portfolio showing creative, design, and software skills or PDF that you can share with us
Ability to evaluate choices critically, with the customer needs in mind
Ability to communicate design choices clearly
Great multi-tasking skills and ability to work under pressure
Additional Information
A position as Graphic Designer is contracted work with a flat price for the entire project. Each project will be negotiated to determine the cost of your services. The cost of each project will vary depending on what the client is looking to get designed. The company uses express pay to ensure that you get paid as quickly as possible.
